Dr. Yasmin Shayesteh, MD, MBA, AKA Dr. Yas,, is a highly accomplished oculoplastic surgeon, eyelid expert, and entrepreneur, dedicated to advancing aesthetic and reconstructive eye care. As the co-founder of The Lid Lab, an innovative luxury skincare company focused on eyelid health, she brings her extensive surgical expertise and business acumen to redefine eyelid-focused skincare. 

Dr. Yas is a graduate of the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine. She completed her ophthalmology residency at the University of Washington and a prestigious fellowship in oculoplastic surgery at the University of Pennsylvania.

Today she is the Chair of the Ophthalmology Department at The Everett Clinic and is one of approximately 750 ASOPRS surgeons in the world that have trained 4 years as interns and residents in ophthalmology, completed fellowship training in aesthetic and reconstructive procedures of the eyelids, eye sockets, tear ducts and face, and conducted scientific research and passed rigorous oral and written examinations. She is also 1 of approximately 20 surgeons in the world with both pediatric and adult oculofacial plastic surgery training.

With an MBA from the University of Washington Foster School of Business and experience as the Founder and CEO of apparel company Bowmas, she uniquely combines medical excellence with strategic innovation and business acumen to create groundbreaking solutions for eyelid rejuvenation and care.
